Halfway There

After two weeks of play, we've reached the halfway point in the 2016 Orangetown Cup, and it's already proving to be one of the most interesting races in years!

Tappan Zee's Girls have staked the biggest claim to a trophy so far, winning all four of their matches and opening up a 5 point lead over the nearest competitor, Nanuet. TZ's Girls will be able to clinch the title with 3 more wins, but Nanuet, Albertus Magnus, Pearl River and Nyack will all be working to make that hard, with three of those teams still mathematically eligible for the crown. It's all to play for as the second round opens tomorrow, 9/29/16.

On the Boys side both Pearl River and Tappan Zee are again tied for the Cup (could this be a repeat of last year?), but neither can afford to look past Nanuet, Nyack or Albertus Magnus - all of whom are still alive with a chance to win, and all of whom have scored major wins this year. Each team has four games left to stake their claim to the Cup!
