Pearl River & Tappan Zee Boys get pre-season rankings

Two Orangetown boys programs have been handed Top 10 pre-season rankings by The Journal News. Pearl River was selected as #4 overall and the top seed in Class A, while Tappan Zee was placed at #7 overall, and #3 in Class A. Both teams split the League Title last year before the Pirates edged the Dutchmen in the Section 1 Final.

All speculation comes to end on Labor Day, when both teams kick off their season at the Fourth Annual Rockland vs. Westchester Challenge, which will be hosted at the home of OMM Soccer - the Orangetown Soccer Complex. Games begin at 2pm, and admission is free, with donations collected to benefit Orangetown families battling cancer.
